Job Description
- Conduct requirements gathering sessions and BA activities with Product Controllers and Finance Controllers for medium to large project initiatives
- Provide high-level key deliverable plans and detailed breakdown of major tasks
- Understand various Capital Market Products and differentiate trade economics
- Map and trace source data to WSB applications and understand impacts
- Work on requirements gathering and solution design for change requests and major programs
- Collaborate with technical teams and senior management; excellent communication skills required
Responsibilities
- Undertake BA responsibilities for multiple strategic applications involving Capital Market Products
- Understand financial products such as MBS, Bonds, Rate Derivatives, booking and settlement processes, trades, positions, sub-ledger, and price valuations
- Analyze existing data models built on MS Access and correlate business requirements to data model gaps and solutions
- Document Business and Functional requirements from stakeholders
- Lead collaborative workshops for requirements discovery, analysis, and review
- Perform data analysis, reverse engineering, gap analysis, and identify upstream/downstream dependencies
- Construct data flow diagrams, business diagrams, and system context diagrams
- Work closely with development teams to ensure proper execution of requirements
- Support Functional Testing, Systems Integration Testing, and User Acceptance Testing
- Work in Agile/Scrum environments and provide detailed user stories and task breakdowns
- Manage risks, assumptions, and constraints related to requirements
- Work with JIRA, Confluence, SQL, and related tools
Must-Have Skills
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Technology, Business, or related field
- 5–7 years of Business Systems Analysis experience in fast-paced environments
- Expert knowledge of SQL and Excel for data analysis
- Strong Capital Markets product knowledge, particularly derivatives
- Proven Data Analysis experience and project delivery in financial services industry
- Strong communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills
