Job Description

We are looking for an experienced IBM Security Access Manager expert to join a Digital IAM team in Toronto. You will design, implement, and support enterprise-grade Identity and Access Management solutions, working closely with security, infrastructure, and application teams to deliver secure access control and single sign-on capabilities.

What you'll do

• Design, configure, and support IBM Security Access Manager and Verify Access components including WebSEAL, Policy Server, Advanced Access Control, and Federation modules
• Implement and manage single sign-on and federated identity solutions using SAML 2.0, OAuth 2.0, and OpenID Connect
• Configure and manage reverse proxy, junctions, access control lists, and authorization rules
• Integrate ISAM with LDAP directories including IBM LDAP and Active Directory as well as external identity providers
• Support multi-factor authentication and advanced authentication flows
• Perform troubleshooting, performance tuning, and high-availability configurations across development, test, and production environments
• Collaborate with application, network, and security teams to ensure secure integrations and compliance
• Participate in change, incident, and problem management processes in an ITIL-aligned environment
• Maintain technical documentation, configuration standards, and operational runbooks

What you bring

• 5+ years of hands-on experience with IBM Security Access Manager or IBM Security Verify Access
• Strong knowledge of web access management concepts
• Solid experience with single sign-on, federation, SAML, OAuth, and OpenID Connect
• Experience configuring WebSEAL reverse proxy and junctions
• Strong understanding of IAM concepts including authentication, authorization, and access control models
• Experience with Linux and Unix environments and basic scripting
• Familiarity with TLS, certificates, keystores, and truststores
• Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills

Nice to have

• Experience with Ansible, DevOps, or automation tools
• Exposure to cloud platforms such as AWS or Azure
• Experience in banking, financial services, or other regulated industries
• IBM Security product certifications

Work setup

• 12 month contract based in Toronto, ON
• Fully onsite
